Consultant Ophthalmologists (Two Posts)
Applications are invited for two Consultant Ophthalmology posts based at Southlands and St Richard’s Hospitals part of the Western Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for two committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our highly motivated Ophthalmology team.
We are seeking two Consultants with a broad experience in Oph-thalmology ideally with a specialist interest in either Glaucoma, General Ophthalmology, Primary Care or Research and Post Graduate Education.
The successful candidates will join our team of 8 consultants working between St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester and a brand new multimillion pound, state of the art eye department at Southlands Hospital which opened in June 2017. Both of these sites are extremely well equipped with the latest technology and modern facilities.
The Ophthalmology teams across all sites work very cohesively and are extremely enthusiastic and dedicated to deliver a service of excellence. The new centre at Southlands has two operating theatres, a large OPD facility with 20 consulting rooms and a full complement of ancillary staff. This facilitates innovative ways of working and the introduction of new patient pathways that maximise efficiency and put the patient first.
