Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Gastroenterologist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated friendly team dedicated to providing first class gastroenterology services. This post has arisen as a result of growth in both the Outpatient and Endoscopy service. We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join a very successful team of 5 existing Consultant Gastroenterologists.
For the new appointment there will be an opportunity to become accredited as a bowel cancer screening endoscopist if desired. Experience and accreditation in General Medicine and Gastroenterology is essential.
The hospital is set in a great location, being an attractive market town close to the major cities of Nottingham and Sheffield and only 10 minutes travelling time from the Peak District National Park, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty, ideal for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling and climbing.
