Athona's Psychiatry division is currently recruiting for a new substantive opportunity based in Australia. You will be working as a consultant adult Psychiatrist, for one of Sydney's largest teaching hospitals. The role will be predominantly based in an inpatient and community setting focusing on care and recovery.

You will be working with a skilled and experienced multidisciplinary team across the mental health integrated services.

The hospital

The hospital is a metro public mental health inpatient facility, which provides treatment for patients of any age.

Within the service there are three specialist admissions units; one forensic inpatient unit, one specialist high dependency unit and six non-acute rehabilitation units.

Essential Criteria

Must hold MRCPsych/FRCPsych plus UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and have been practicing as a consultant for three years or more.
