The following skills and qualifications are required: 

  • MBBS or equivalent 
  • Completed no more than three years whole time equivalent medical practice post MBBS or equivalent 
  • Ability to prioritise clinical need 
  • Aware of own limitations and knows when to consult senior colleagues 
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise workload 
  • Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm and common sense
