Laboratory Haematology with Specialist Benign Interest
Applications are invited for a 10PA substantive Haematology Consultant to be based at the Royal Free Hospital site to develop a comprehensive laboratory and clinical liaison service at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and in developing a specialist interest raise the research profile of Haematology at the Trust.
The Trust has a unique opportunity to develop a non-malignant and rare disorders haematology service, with the aim of becoming a Centre of Excellence as the service is established. The haematology department includes a comprehensive care centre for haemophilia and thrombosis and works in close collaboration with the Institute of Inflammation and Immunity.
You will partake in consultant led clinics, a 2nd on-call out-of-hours rota, lab and liaison rota and a ward attending rota.
