We are seeking to appoint a Clinical Research Fellow/ Resident Medical Officer who will be involved in a major research project under the direction of a member of academic staff at Imperial College. The post holder will
be expected to partake in a clinical RMO role with an on call commitment of 1 in 6, looking after patients within an Imperial private healthcare facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in the following specialities: Oncology, Women’s Oncology, Vascular Cardiology, Cardiothoracic, General Surgery, Urology, General Medicine, Endocrine,
Anaesthetics, Orthopaedics, Neurology, HpB, Respiratory. You must be able to demonstrate some previous experience in research and must show evidence of ability to develop personal research projects.
A degree in medicine (MBBS or equivalent) and full MRCS in surgery or MRCP in medicine or equivalent is essential. Full General Medical Council registration is essential.
This is a full time post and is fixed term for 3 years in the first instance and will be based mainly at the Charing Cross Campus, located in Hammersmith and at the Hammersmith Campus, located in East Acton.
As this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required for the successful candidate.
