Post 1 / Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with interest in Maternal Medicine/Antenatal Care - Non-Resident.
This is a non-resident post with an interest in Maternal Medicine/Antenatal Care and includes emergency and elective O&G sessions. The on-call rota is 1:9.
Post 2, 3 & 4 / Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with interest in Maternal Medicine/Antenatal Care - Resident Nights
These are resident posts with an interest in Maternal Medicine/Antenatal Care and include a specialist antenatal clinic. One resident night in seven.
Post 5 / Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with interest in Office Gynaecology - Resident Nights
This is a resident post in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with an interest in Office Gynaecology and also includes an antenatal clinic. One resident night in seven.
Each post has identified time for continuing professional development and supporting professional activities.
Candidates must have full GMC registration with valid license to practice and be on the Specialist Register or eligible for entry within six months of the date of AAC, and will have MRCOG or equivalent appropriate specialist qualification.
We are particularly looking for individuals wanting to be part of a growing organisation and help in developing specialist obstetrics and gynaecology services.
The Trust currently employs over 9,000 multi disciplinary staff in four hospital sites, making it one of the largest Trusts in the UK. As the Trust makes a transition into Care Organisations the North Manchester General Hospital is now part of the wider Care Group alongside The Royal Salford Hospital. In addition, acute general hospital services are provided for the population of the North East of Greater Manchester.
