Consultant in Acute Medicine

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and highly motivated team of acute medicine and elderly consultants, working in a fast paced and vibrant clinical setting. With your enthusiasm, motivation and commitment, you will lead the delivery of acute medical care, providing early and regular review and proactive management of patients. The team works closely with the Emergency Department and you will have a key role in the care of the acutely ill patient. In-reach support is provided by a variety of specialty consultant colleagues and also a large and growing cohort of advance nurse practitioners. There is the opportunity to play an integral role in helping to further shape the development of the Acute Assessment Unit and Ambulatory Care Service at a pivotal time in the Trust’s programme of reconfiguration and service transformation.
