Nurturing medical leadership
We promote and encourage medical leadership and our new structure provides the opportunity for every consultant to take on a leadership role in service delivery and governance.
We believe in the importance of the medical voice in mental health and have
developed a service delivery model where the consultant leads a smaller service unit allowing for leadership and active involvement in service designs and development.
We nurture the potential in each and every person in our teams and consider
their personal development as a priority in our service delivery – making you
an integral member of our family.
We offer all newly appointed consultants mentoring to support their
development as leaders.
Staff enjoy a range of benefits including generous annual leave, a cycle to work scheme and support around health and wellbeing. We offer free body and mind MOTs which support the physical and mental health of all staff.
Location, Location, Location
As the ‘Garden of England,’ Kent is one of the best places to live and work in the UK with a rich history and excellent connections to London and Europe. Kent offers fantastic lifestyle opportunities, whether you want a weekend break in Paris, activities in Kent’s beautiful countryside or lazy picnic in our beautiful harbour towns.
The county has many areas of outstanding natural beauty and the rolling hills
around Kent are perfect for pub lunches and nature walks. We have exceptional country pubs, beautiful countryside, great schools and much more!
Thinking of relocating?
In addition to the £8k relocation expenses to support you in making the
move to a new career and home, we offer up to a further £15K towards
attracting the most talented staff, in many posts, subject to conditions.
