Community Paediatrician and Designated Doctor Safeguarding (9 PAs)

We are seeking an experienced community paediatrician to join the Islington paediatric team based at The Northern Health Centre, Holloway Road N7 and Goswell Road EC1.

Ideally you will have worked as a named doctor in child protection or as a designated doctor and are confident in the area of Safeguarding. 

The community paediatric team are committed to providing the highest quality of care to the children and young people in Islington. We are seeking someone who shares this ambition, to make Islington one of the safest places for children and young people to live and to thrive. We also seek someone who has the ability to bring about change across complex systems and is able to communicate at the highest level building strong working relationships. 

You will be professionally accountable to the Director of Quality and Nursing within Islington CCG, and clinically accountable to the Clinical Director of the Children’s Integrated Service Unit at Whittington Health.
