We are a clinically driven company with an equally strong operations management team focused on delivering quality of service and high patient outcomes through the utilisation of a skilled, professional team supported by both robust clinical and corporate governance processes.

We are seeking enthusiastic doctors to provide forensic medical examinations for victims of sexual assault in the South West region. We have a variety of contracts available including Full Time, Part Time, Fixed Term and Flexi.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sexual Offences Examiner (SOE) you will provide an essential service acting as an independent practitioner supporting the Criminal Justice System by providing forensic examinations of complainants (both children and adults) of rape or sexual assault.

For all examinations you must accurately document findings and if required produce these as a written report for the use of the courts or other agencies. Whenever called upon to do so by the Police, you are obliged to attend at any Court as a professional witness for the purpose of giving objective and unbiased evidence.

Your main responsibilities will include the management of sexual offence victims whilst practising in line with professional guidelines.  You will also undertake forensic examinations and work alongside the Crisis Worker and specially trained Police Officers to give support to the victims.

It is crucial that you hold a full, valid driving licence for this role. Previous experience in Paediatric medicine, A&E, Psychiatry & Paediatric Gynaecology would be an advantage.

This role requires use of your own car, business use insurance and your own professional indemnity insurance. Being a part of such a large organisation gives you access to excellent benefits such as:
