This post will increase consultant numbers to 12. The full complement of 12 consultants will enhance the obstetric and gynaecology services to the women of Medway. The successful candidates will provide general obstetric and acute gynaecology services and contribute to the on call rota. The successful candidates will be expected to have broad experience in obstetrics and labour ward management. This post will attract 10 programmed activities.
The Trust teaches students of Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine, King’s College, London, in General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics and Obstetrics. We have an active Postgraduate Centre with an excellent Library.
Please note all doctors from abroad, including the EU, must produce an IELTS certificate with 7.5 scored in all fields before they can be appointed to the Trust.
Applicants will hold MRCOG or equivalent and are required to be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT at the time of interview.
