Temporary Consultant post: 

Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine

This is a temporary post with 39 hours at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital,
Crumlin, Dublin 12, Ireland on a Type B contract. Flexible/part-time working
arrangements considered for any period up to 12 months for Anaesthetics
and 6 months for Emergency Medicine.

The Department of Paediatric Emergency Medicine (ED) sees over 38,000
children from 0-16 years annually. The case load reflects its location in an inner south western suburb of Dublin city and also the tertiary nature of in-patient services in the hospital. Patient case mix includes acute undifferentiated illness and injuries, secondary and complex tertiary
paediatric problems. The ED team are energetic and progressive and
include specialist trainees from emergency medicine and paediatrics.
Departmental interests include research and sedation.
