Consultant in Dermatology (10 PA)
Substantive with an interest in melanoma and skin cancer
Interested in joining an innovative, integrated, modern, forward thinking dermatology service in one of the most vibrant cities in the UK? We are looking for a colleague with an interest in medical skin cancer management to support the MDT and develop our melanoma and immunosuppressed services. We are open to applicants with other specialist interests that would complement our department. In addition to this, paediatric and genital dermatology are other areas we wish to expand.
Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals is the regional teaching hospital, providing general acute services to Brighton and Hove, Mid Sussex and tertiary services; for patients across Sussex and the south east of England. Working as one hospital across two sites in Brighton and Haywards Heath, we treat over half a million patients a year. We have recently taken over all dermatology services in Brighton and Hove working with our community partner, Sussex Community Dermatology Service. This partnership has created stability in the region, allowing us to expand and deliver a first class service, based at Brighton General Hospital.
Informal discussions about the exciting opportunities are most welcome and can be directed to the clinical lead, Dr Paul Farrant: firstname.lastname@example.org
