Consultant in Medical Oncology
Addenbrooke’s Oncology Centre
Applications are invited for a post as Consultant in Medical Oncology to join the Cancer Directorate at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. This is a new post to support the Kidney Cancer, Melanoma and Acute Oncology services at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Cancer Centre at Addenbrooke’s serves a core population of 1.3 million, with an extended catchment area of 2-4 million for rare tumours. Its radiotherapy facilities include eight linear accelerators (including two TomoTherapy machines and two Elekta VMAT machines). The Centre provides a regional service for kidney cancer and melanoma, with a strong research base and extensive clinical trials portfolio.
Applicants are required to be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT at the time of interview.
