Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist - 1:5 GI bleed on call
Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist required for a minimum of 8 months in London. This position is currently exclusive to Remedy Locums and we are working closely with the Clinical and Managerial team to cover this vacant post.
The position offers a 10PA job plan consisting of Endoscopies, Outpatient Clinics and Admin. There is also a 1:2 ward commitment covering Gastro Patients only on a 16-bedded ward. There is a General Medicine Consultant already assigned to the unit who picks up Outliers and non-Gastro patients.
In addition, there is also a 1:5 GI bleed on call attached to the post bring the average weekly hours to 60-65 per week, paid at full rate.
Due to the urgency of the post, the Trust has signed off an hourly rate above rate caps.
Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist
8-month contract initially
10 PA’s – Endoscopy, Clinics, Inpatients, Admin
Ward duties are 1:2 – Gastro Patients only – 16 beds
1:5 GI bleed on call
Average of 60-65 hours per week – paid at full rate
Excellent hourly rate – Trust has signed off to go above rate caps
Minimum of 12 months’ experience at Consultant level
Ability to cover Gastro Inpatients
Happy to cover 1:5 GI bleed on call
Specialist Registration for Gastroenterology & G(I)M is preferred
