Consultant Medical Oncologist in Acute Oncology
Contract: Permanent, 10 PA
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is recognised worldwide for the quality of its cancer services. The Trust’s strategic aim is to achieve excellence in cancer treatment and diagnosis, through partnership and collaboration. The Royal Marsden with its associated Institute of Cancer Research constitutes a centre of excellence for research and development, education, treatment and care in cancer. It is acknowledged to be one of the largest comprehensive Cancer Centres in the world. The medically led AOS has been in place for 18 months and following this successful pilot the Trust has given approval to substantively recruit for the consultant positions.
Consultant Medical Oncologist in Acute Oncology Lung Ref: 282-C3837-AAC
This is a full time 10 PA post which will dedicate 50% of the time to developing and delivering our recently introduced Acute Oncology Service and 50% of the time within the Lung Unit as a key member of the MDT.
In order to fulfil the responsibilities of this post you must be eligible for full GMC registration. Applicants will have their CCT or be within 6 months of obtaining it.
