Advanced Trainees & Senior Registrars
NETS (Newborn & Paediatric Emergency Transport Service)
Senior trainees and specialist registrar in paediatrics, paediatric emergency medicine, paediatric intensive care or neonatal medicine are sought to work in emergency medical retrieval at NETS, a statewide service of NSW Health providing critical care inter-hospital transport for newborns, infants and children up to age 16 years.
These positions are based in Sydney, NSW (Sydney) and are offered for 6 or 12 months’ periods commencing in 2017-2018 or other start times by negotiation.
Applicants should hold APLS (or equivalent), be currently registered or eligible to be registered with the Medical Board of Australia and (for advanced trainees) enrolled as an advanced trainee with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent.
Applicants should also be able to work and function in the NETS operational environment; including passing fitness test and superior verbal and written communication skills.
