Cataract, Acute & General Ophthalmology Fellow
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fellow in cataract/general and acute ophthalmology to join our teams in Moorfields South. This role will give the successful applicant the opportunity to gain experience in general and acute ophthalmology at a teaching hospital and of cataract surgery, as well as access to the teaching and resources of Moorfields City Road and to participate on the South West Thames Regional Oncall Rota. The successful candidate will also be able to be timetabled to a subspecialty clinic of their choosing where possible.
The post is for a fixed term of 12 months available immediately.
You should have achieved an MBBS and FRCOphth/ MRCOphth or equivalent and have registration with the General Medical Council. Full details of the post and the requirements are found in the job description and person specification.
All doctors are responsible to maintain a portfolio of their career over the last 5 years in order to satisfy GMC Revalidation criteria. If successful, you will be required to bring along your supporting information portfolio including recent appraisals documents when joining the Trust.
