GPs Leading the way in the new NHS
Want to be a GP that leads the way in the new NHS?
This is a unique opportunity to develop a patient care and medical careerin an environment that crosses traditional Primary Care and Secondary Care boundaries.
Royal Primary Care is a large, multi-centred General Practice led by Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and provides a full range of healthcare services and specialties for people across the community.
It presents employed General Practitioners with an exciting prospect to work innovatively and differently – supporting primary care transformation and strengthening partnership working. Caring for more than 30,000 registered patients in Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire our GPs are delivering care in new ways.
We can offer portfolio careers for GPs already trained in other specialties – along with training opportunities for those keen to develop new skills. We also welcome GPs who would like to return to General Practice after a career break.
Alongside this chance to develop professionally we can also offer you a great location to work in. We are fortunate to be positioned on the edge of the¬Peak District National Park – with its picturesque towns and villages, a wide range of leisure activities and stunning scenery.
We advocate flexible work patterns and contract arrangements and you’ll be supported by a team of staff that as well as GPs, includes advanced nurse practitioners, pharmacists and mental health nurses. If you want to concentrate on patient care and clinical leadership why not join us?
