Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, a multi-award winning Trust and voted one of the top 10 best places to work in the NHS, is a well-managed and financially stable foundation trust with an excellent track record of providing high quality mental health, learning disability and substance misuse services to 2 million people living in County Durham, the Tees Valley, North Yorkshire and York and Selby.
These posts have arisen as a result of retirement and relocation. They are an opportunity for passionate applicants to join an established team of 10 committed and supportive consultants across Teesside CYPS; there are also specialty doctors and tier 4 consultant colleagues. CQC (2015) rated the service as Good in all key lines of enquiry. We rated extremely well in the NHS National benchmarking report (2016) on CAMHS services - the volume of work compared to the number of whole time equivalents was the best in the country. Tees CYPS has embedded CYP-IAPT, a 24/7 CAMHS crisis/liaison service, young person centred care pathways, embraces quality improvement, is developing currency and tariff systems and also benefits from a commitment from local commissioners who have supported investment in our services over the last 3 years.
A pay premium may be available for these posts.
Informal enquiries and arrangements to visit the Trust are welcomed by Dr Zoë Gilder, Clinical Director Teesside CYPS on tel (01429) 285051 or Dr Nick Land, Medical Director on (01325) 552304.
