Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in Glaucoma
Applications are invited for a substantive Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in Glaucoma.

Current sub-specialty interests include Medical Retina, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Glaucoma, Cornea and Anterior Segment, and Paediatric Ophthalmology.
This post supports associated service development, and although the Trust is currently recruiting for a Glaucoma Consultant, any sub-specialty interest that complements the department is welcome.
The department has theatre and outpatient facilities at the Trust’s three sites, Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Montagu Hospital and Bassetlaw Hospital serving a population of over 420,000 and is well-equipped with five Heidelberg Spectralis OCTs, two Pascal Argon Lasers, Flourescein/ICG Angiography, corneal topography (Pentacam), ocular ultrasound, AR-1 autorefractors and a slit-lamp camera. All sites have dedicated ophthalmic theatres with Stellaris phacoemulsification machines, and Zeiss Lumera 700 operating microscopes with HD viewing and recording capability.
