The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust has an international reputation for high quality patient care, education and research. Its partnership with the Institute of Cancer Research has created the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe and is the only institution to be designated a National Biomedical Research Centre for Cancer.
We are pleased to invite applications to the above full time post from suitably trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons with expertise in Oncology. The Plastic Surgery Unit at The Royal Marsden provides a comprehensive reconstructive service across all clinical units for a local and national population and is delivered by a strong consultant team with excellent junior doctor and specialist nursing support.
The successful candidate will be a skilled Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with extensive experience in microvascular surgery having worked successfully in conjunction with multiple surgical specialities in oncology.
Candidates should be eligible for full registration with the General Medical Council and will ideally have had experience at Consultant level in this specialty or possess a CCT from the Royal College of Surgeons or equivalent or be within six months of attaining it.
The post will work across both sites of The Royal Marsden Hospital.
