Our supportive and forward thinking team are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to expand our current complement of six Consultants.

You will have general luminal Gastroenterology and Endoscopy skills, but expertise in other sub-specialties is encouraged.

You will work across site, providing inpatient care at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, for a service that is supported by two Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) specialist nurses.

A great place to work - Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to recruit Consultants within our Medicine Division. Our Trust offers all major disciplines and a full range of support services with job plans providing commitment to your specialist interest. Providing high quality inpatient and outpatient care to a population of over 700,000, this is an exciting time to join the Trust as we are undergoing countywide reconfiguration of clinical services.

Our brand new state of the art Radiotherapy & Oncology Centre opened in 2015 providing all routine cancer services for Worcestershire. Successfully commissioned from scratch, including design and build of the new facility, we attracted 80 staff from all over the UK into “hard to fill” posts to join us on our journey in this beautiful rural county. The creation of this new service embodies the ambition and drive that we have in Worcestershire to constantly improve patient experience.

The Trust has a strong commitment to the teaching of undergraduate students from the University of Birmingham. These posts would be ideal for candidates completing their specialist training or those with other specialist interests who wish to diversify.
