This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant in Spinal Injuries to join our highly motivated and cohesive team based at the Midland Centre for Spinal Injuries, Oswestry, Shropshire.
The Midland Centre for Spinal Injuries is a supra-regional centre for management of patients with spinal cord injury. The philosophy of the Centre is to provide a holistic approach to the consequences of spinal cord lesions which produce multisystem physical dysfunction and multi-factorial lifestyle implications. The Centre takes an effective multi-disciplinary approach to rehabilitative care.

Applications are welcomed from candidates who are on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register in Rehabilitation Medicine or who will be within six months of obtaining their CCT at the time of interview. In addition applicants should demonstrate within their application their wide experience in aspects of either medicine or surgery relevant to spinal cord paralysis rehabilitation medicine and ability to manage patients with acute spinal cord injury and complex late complications.
