This post represents an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Rheumatologist to grow our expanding service.
There is an opportunity to develop a special interest in rheumatology and related services.
The service currently has 6 Rheumatologists and an Endocrinologist, are supported by a specialist multi-disciplinary team of nurses, therapists, pharmacists and administration staff.
In-reach and outreach services are provided across Shropshire, including community provision. This role will undertake their clinical sessions between the RJAH and Princess Royal Hospital Telford sites.

Applications are welcomed from candidates with MRCP (or equivalent) who are on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register in Rheumatology or who will be within six months of obtaining their CCT at the time of interview. Your application should also demonstrate your competency in the management of patients with rheumatic disease and the delivery of those services.
