Consultant General Paediatrician – 5 PA (with negotiable additional non-substantive PAs)

The General Paediatric Service sits at the heart of the Specialist Children’s Hospital Service at St Mary’s. Health London Partnership conducted a peer review of general paediatrics in 2017. Their report concludes “The panel was of the view that CYP and their families were very well served by the Trust. Their voices were heard and appropriate - and often highly innovative - action was taken”.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our first class general paediatric team. Additional (non-substantive) PAs may be available to bring the post up to a total of 10 PAs. The post is predominantly based at St Mary’s: a small number of sessions take place out of hospital in the Connecting Care for Children Child Health GP Hubs; others on the Children’s Ambulatory Unit at Hammersmith Hospital. The post holder will be invited to join the on-call rota for General Paediatrics at St Mary’s Hospital.

Applicants for this post must be fully registered with the GMC and hold licence to Practice and be on the Specialist Register or within six months of attaining CCT or equivalent at interview stage.

There will be an opportunities to visit and meet the teams for short-listed applicants in the week commencing 17 July. Further details are available from:
