Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability– 8 PA (with negotiable additional non-substantive PAs)
This post has arisen following departmental restructure to enhance the neurodisability service. In particular this post will develop care for complex neurodisabilities especially to manage their complex epilepsies, motor disorders, spasticity and dystonia and to lead the children’s neurorehabilitation service for the Trust.
The service is strategically situated within a Trust with a major trauma centre for both adults and children. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work closely with Dr Sunil Pullaperuma, alongside the multidisciplinary complex neurodevelopmental disability team. Additional PAs (non-substantive) may be available for neurodisability and/or general paediatrics to bring the post up to a total of 10 PAs. The post is predominantly based at St Mary’s: a small number of sessions take place at Woodfield Road clinic; others on the Children’s Ambulatory Unit at Hammersmith Hospital.
Applicants for this post must be fully registered with the GMC and hold licence to Practice and be on the Specialist Register or within six months of attaining CCT or equivalent at interview stage.
