Consultant in Neurology
Applications are invited for a substantive Consultant Neurologist based at the Royal Surrey County Hospital Foundation Trust (Guildford, Surrey).
The Royal Surrey County Hospital is a medium-sized district general hospital, with an integral cancer centre (St. Luke’s Cancer Centre). It serves a population of 320,000 for emergency and general services, and 1.2 million people for cancer services. Currently, the Neurology department consists of three consultant neurologists, a consultant neurophysiologist, and associated support personnel.
We are seeking an ambitious individual to help to develop/lead neurological services within the general hospital and the cancer centre, and to further develop the academic partnership with the adjacent University of Surrey. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the generic neurology service, and to develop a relevant subspecialty interest.
