We are hiring Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability at Sidra Medical and Research Center.

This is a unique opportunity for highly motivated, skilled and enthusiastic clinicians.

Sidra Medical and Research Center, is a ground-breaking, ultra-modern, all digital clinical and research facility in Qatar. We are looking for Paediatricians with Post Residency training or Fellowship in Developmental & Behavioral Paediatrics. A post graduate degree/s in the area of Developmental Paediatrics would be welcome.

The successful candidate will join 2 other Consultants in the Division of Developmental Pediatrics (DDP).

The Division of Developmental Paediatrics reports to the Division Chief of Paediatrics at Sidra and aims to provide children with developmental and behavioral disorders and their families with high quality, multi-disciplinary and family - centered care, that will maximize independence and community participation. It will also conduct high quality education, training and innovative research, which is clinically relevant.

The Division of Developmental Paediatrics at Sidra will be a multidisciplinary division that utilizes the knowledge and skills of many professionals (physicians, AHPs, nurses, psychologists etc.) as well as those who are not in the medical field, but rather involved in the education of children and young people.  

The scope of the Division of Developmental Paediatrics at Sidra will include mainly outpatient services for children and young people, 0-18 years, with developmental disorders, learning difficulties and behavioural problems, with a special focus on Social Communication Disorders.
