Consultants in General (Internal) Medicine
The Galway Clinic, a Royal College of Surgeons Affiliated Teaching Hospital, is a leading 146 bed, state of the art independent hospital situated on the outskirts of Galway, Ireland. The hospital has a wide range of services including six theatres, two minor operating theatres, five inpatient units, emergency care, daycare, oncology, radiology, radiotherapy, cardiothoracic surgery, robotic surgery, cardiac cath. lab. and ICU.
The Clinic is currently recruiting Consultants who have completed the General Internal Medicine (GIM) SpR Training programme, who have been awarded the Certificate of Satisfactory Completion of Specialist Training (CSCST) and have been entered on the Specialist Division of the Register of the Medical Council.
The primary responsibility of the roles will be to provide acute medical care within the Emergency Department structure and to participate in the Emergency Medicine on-call rota.
Applicants with special interest in Stroke and Medicine for the Elderly would be most welcome.
Consultant Posts in Other Specialties, including Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery, Gynecology and General Surgery also available.
