Consultant Clinical Oncologist
NHS Grampian is looking for an enthusiastic colleague to take up this new Consultant post in Clinical Oncology, with a special interest in Lung Cancer and Head and Neck Cancer.
You will join an excellent team of eight Clinical Oncology Consultants and 4 Medical Oncology Consultants. They will be based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on the Foresterhill site in Aberdeen.
They will be encouraged to develop Radiotherapy Services and to become involved in the development of SABR for non-lung tumour sites. There are ample opportunities to engage in teaching and research at this teaching hospital and the University of Aberdeen is currently looking to expand the Academic Oncology Department. The new ANCHOR centre for outpatient and day therapy Oncology and Haematology is due to open in 2020 and will be co-located with the radiotherapy department at the east side of the Foresterhill Campus.

Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within six months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR).
