Chief Registrar in Acute Medicine
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated trainee to join Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Chief Registrar, starting in August or September 2017.
The chief registrar role provides junior doctors with the chance to develop a wide range of skills in leadership and management, education and quality improvement and is supported by the Royal College of Physicians.
The chief registrar initiative has been developed by the Future Hospital Programme at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and has the support of Health Education England, English deans and the General Medical Council (GMC).
Working as a chief registrar provides trainees with a springboard that places them at the heart of designing patient care, and it enables trainees to take ownership of their career development.
Applications are welcomed from anyone working to ST5 level or above who is training in a medical specialty that includes general internal medicine, and who has full GMC registration and has attained the full MRCP diploma or equivalent.
