2. Early pregnancy & Risk management ( Clinical Governance lead)
Applications are invited for two substantive Consultants in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
1. With special interest in Oncology (Oncology lead).
2. With special interest in Early Pregnancy & Risk management (Clinical Governance lead). These posts are replacement of two locum consultants and will be available from September 2017.
Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust is working to develop a consultant-led service in women’s health. The advertised posts are designed to improve oncology, early pregnancy and obstetric services at University Hospital Lewisham. The principal aims of these posts are to improve our obstetric service by increasing consultant presence on the delivery suite to 87.5 hrs and to lead the oncology & clinical governance service. In addition we will be able to further develop and improve the training and education offered to Postgraduate trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as Medical Students.
Applicants are required to be on the Specialist Register with CCT in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or be within six months of obtaining it by the interview date. Full Registration with the GMC is essential.
