Applications are invited for the above posts of Consultant Radiologist based at Worthing or St Richard’s Hospitals, part of the Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will join a department that is undergoing considerable service redesign and reconfiguration and as a result there is significant planned investment in both manpower and infrastructure. The service redesign project is working strategically towards a strong, clinically-led and integrated department across the Trust's sites.
The successful candidates will join a team of 27 Consultant Radiologists in a modern and progressive Trust with a reputation for high clinical standards and performance. We offer a wide range of imaging modalities, including Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine across 3 sites, two of these acute.
Applicants should have a thorough grounding in clinical radiology including ultrasound and cross sectional skills. In addition to general core skills the post holder will require to have a specialist interest in at least one of the following:
- MSK Radiology
- GU/Gynae Radiology
- Paediatric Radiology
You must be fully registered with the GMC and be on the Specialist Register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent at interview stage.
