Applications are welcomed for the post of Consultant Radiologist with special interest in cross-sectional imaging at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust.

The North Middlesex University Hospital, based in Edmonton, is a busy and ambitious hospital with full Care Quality Commission registration.

We aim to be “best in class” delivering high quality clinical services, outstanding patient care and efficient organisational systems and processes to our local populations of Enfield and Haringey.

This is a new post for a whole time/part time radiologist with an interest in cross-sectional imaging, at the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. The post has been created to meet the increase in demand which has resulted from the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey strategy. The workload will be shared with the existing team of radiologists. The post includes general radiology, ultrasound and cross-sectional sessions and there is an on-call commitment. A sub-specialty interest in uro-radiology would be welcomed.

The Radiology Department (comprising both diagnostic and interventional radiology) consists of the main X-ray Department, an Ultrasound Department (including Antenatal Ultrasound), a Nuclear Medicine Department and the Enfield and Haringey Breast Symptomatic Unit. As well as providing a comprehensive service for the Trust it provides a GP Service for plain x-rays, barium meals and ultrasound. There is also asmall s atellite department at St Ann’s Hospital.

With North Middlesex now part of the Royal Free vanguard group there is potential for cross-site working.
