NTW is one of Britain’s largest mental health and disability foundation trusts, providing a full range of services, with a number of high profile academic departments. NTW sits in the top 10% of trusts in the GMC National Trainee Survey.
We have a number of posts available across the trust in general and old age psychiatry. The trust covers the following main hospital sites: Hopewood Park, Sunderland, The Centre for Aging and Vitality and St Nicholas Hospitals, Newcastle upon Tyne, St George’s Park Hospital, Morpeth, and the Tranwell Unit in Gateshead.
You will be expected to join the Full Shift Out-of-Hours Pattern which includes working weekends and night shifts.
There are excellent learning opportunities; potential involvement in teaching undergraduates, audit & postgraduate educational meetings.
MBBS or equivalent is essential. Candidates should be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) or be eligible to become registered.
