Consultant in Rheumatology
Do you want to be part of something good?
Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust and Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust combined on 1st April 2017 to become the new North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Rheumatology Consultant to support and develop the high quality rheumatology services at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. The successful applicant will be based full time at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and will be responsible for providing general in-patient and out-patient adult rheumatology care without any out-of- hours on-call commitment. Acute in-patient referrals are seen by the department’s consultants on a daily basis during working hours (out-of-hours patients are seen by the on-call general medical team and referred to the rheumatology department the next morning).
Never before has it been a better time to join us. As a larger organisation we will have increased opportunities to enhance our services ensuring we provide the best patient experience and clinical outcomes which gives you the opportunity and support to experience a wide and varied career within one Trust.
Hinchingbrooke Hospital is no ordinary NHS hospital. We look different, feel different, and act different. It has a reputation for dynamism, integration of clinicians in management, and high quality patient care (rated ‘Good’ by the CQC for safety, caring, effectiveness, responsive and well-led; August 2016).
We are looking for individuals who demonstrate that they have the same values as ours, who put patients at the centre of what we do, who are keen to join us in working through new developments, adventures and challenges and be part of a team which embraces new ideas and innovative ways of working ensuring that the patient experience is the very best that it can be.
Whilst this post will initially be solely Hinchingbrooke-based, future service developments may lead to the opportunity, or requirement, to provide specialty expertise across more than one of the North West Anglia NHSFT sites.
