Anterior Segment Fellow
Applications are invited for a Fellowship attached to the Corneal Service.
The post is full-time for a period of 6 months, extendable to 12 months. It is ideally suited to those applicants who have had previous corneal and external diseases experience preferably as an ASTO or fellow and wish to gain expertise in Corneal Surgery.
Candidates are expected to have extensive cataract surgical experience and be able to routinely perform phacoemulsification surgery unsupervised.
Applicants should be at Specialist Registrar/Trainee grade or equivalent and should have completed their higher surgical training in ophthalmology or be close to doing so. The successful candidate will be required to be registered with the General Medical Council with a License to Practice.
