Consultant Community Paediatricians
Full/ Part time – up to 40 hours/10 PA’s per week
An opportunity has arisen for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team of community paediatricians, to support the ongoing development and delivery of the Integrated service for children with additional needs(ICAN) in Leeds.
Central to our service philosophy and approach is placing the child and family at the centre of delivery of care and ensuring that children are seen by the most appropriate professional in a timely manner.
The workload is busy, but the environment is one of support, as well as having a sense of enjoyment and job satisfaction. We have embarked on a programme of medical leadership development and recognise the key role of the medic in designing services.
We are seeking to appoint up to three full time Consultant (10 PA’s) to join our team of Community Paediatricians.
The post holders will be providing neurodisability and secondary paediatric services and contribute to the child protection rota in the city. Post holders will play an important role in supporting the specialist training of paediatric trainees and will contribute to the under graduate teaching programme.
