LAS Specialty Training Registrar Years 3+

We are currently looking for fixed term LAS Specialty Training Registrar years 3+. You will be based in the Acute Medical Unit at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. This is busy unit admitting up to 100 patients per day and thus has the ability to offer you a wealth of experience and training in all aspects of acute medicine. The unit also runs a consultant lead Ambulatory Emergency Care unit, a short stay unit and has an enhanced care bay to aid the management of acutely ill medical patients. You will work closely with our senior clinical team and benefit from their experience and knowledge allowing you to expand your own clinical experience every day.
The senior clinical team have put a lot of thought into the rotas and working
patterns and in a 14 week cycle there will only be 7 nights, alongside the other usual day time clinical commitments.
You would be offered the same training opportunities as our NTN ST3+
trainees, who are provided with 4 months per year experience out of the AMU in: ITU/Cardiology/Respiratory/Geriatrics, plus we have access to facilities for other specialist skills. We are here to support you as you help us support the service at NNUH.
Applicants must have full GMC registration with a licence to practise, have
experience in acute medicine and preferably hold full MRCP(UK) and ALS and we hope to have you in post for 2 August 2017.
