Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry
Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry in NHS Grampian.

There are excellent connections with other British cities and the continent, flying time to London is one hour with more than 20 daily flights - and road and rail links are easily accessible.
This post is now available following a retirement. It will be based predominantly within the Blair Unit, Royal Cornhill Hospital Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be joining a Forensic Psychiatry multidisciplinary team which includes Nursing, Clinical Psychology and Occupational Therapy. The work will include out-patient, Prison based and in-patient elements. Forensic Psychiatry sits under the management structure provided by the hosted services for Psychiatry-currently hosted by NHSG. It will also work with the new Integrated Joint Board structures for City and Shire.
Candidates must have a higher medical qualification (MRCPsych. or equivalent), applications from candidates with other suitable experience will be considered.
Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training in Forensic
Psychiatry leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR).
