RIG Locums are currently working with various hospitals in the UK who require acute medicine physicians for 2 months with the possibility of extension.

You will be expected to take leadership for the acute medicine unit and medical admissions and discharges.  Core duties will include leading the day time treatment of acute patients and undertake all aspects acute/general medicine within the unit as well as general assistance.

Successful candidates will be part of a team that assesses and treats acute patients requiring enhanced care and will supervise the in-patient and outpatient management of this group of patients admitted to the hospital as emergencies.

Hospital requirements:

  • GMC registered
  • Right to work in the UK
  • MRCP or equivalent
  • Wide experience working in Medicine
