Specialty Doctor - Paediatrics
A vacancy opportunity has arisen for a Specialty Doctor within a dynamic Community Child Health Department, within a Combined Child Health Service of NHS Grampian. They will join the Team of Consultants, Associate Specialists and Specialty Doctors who provide a range of Community based Paediatric Services to children and young people living in and around Aberdeen. Opportunities exist to access additional training and also to develop special interest within the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health.
Candidates are required to have at least 4 years full-time postgraduate training, at least 2 years of which will be in a specialty training programme in Paediatrics or as a fixed term specialty trainee in Paediatrics, or shall have equivalent experience and competencies. Previous experience in Community Paediatrics is desirable but not essential, as in-service training will be given as necessary. A car driver is essential.

Although this post is advertised as full-time (10 PA’s), we would consider other part-time or job sharing options that would equally meet the needs of the service.
