UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health

The appointment will be full time on UCL Grade Clinical Training Fellow - Specialty Training Registrar.

The salary range will be £32,156 - £47,647 per annum depending on skills and experience, inclusive of London Allowance.

Two posts are available providing doctoral opportunities for future clinical academic paediatricians.

These posts are full time Clinical Academic Training Fellow (Specialist Registrar) posts, providing 50%  academic training within the PPP programme at ICH, and 50% clinical work based at University College Hospital (UCH). Applicants need to be ST6 (current ST5s welcome to apply) or above to allow a 3-4 year attachment at UCH.

We invite applications from paediatricians in training in the UK who have a research interest in any area of general paediatrics and/or adolescent health including health services research and quality improvement, who are keen to undertake a doctorate (MD or PhD) whilst continuing / finishing their clinical training. Each post-holder will be attached to a senior clinical academic paediatrician at ICH who undertakes clinical work at UCH, who will provide research training and supervision towards a doctorate.
