What is your 5 year forward view?

Worried about the future? Uncertain about career prospects and development? Come and visit our practice, where the future is bright.

We are a flourishing practice in East Cambridgeshire with a surgery in Soham (Staploe Medical Centre, 20,500 patients) and a surgery in Ely (Cathedral Medical Centre, 10,500 patients). We also provide the medical cover at our local Minor Injuries Unit in the Princess of Wales Hospital Ely.

Our GPs are motivated, supported and engaged, with training and career development encouraged. We support skill mixing and innovation from staff, and reward our salaried GPs well (minimum remuneration £80,000 wte + defence organisation fees, with additional earning opportunities in extended hours). Our practice ethos is fundamentally about the importance of clinical quality and staff development in delivering safe, efficient, quality healthcare.

Our practice is well-regarded for training and medical student teaching. GPs are well supported by established nursing, managerial and administrative teams. We strongly encourage our GP’s professional development and enjoy weekly clinical governance and educational sessions, and daily coffee meetings for clinical discussions and case sharing.

If you want to contribute to the fulfilment of our vision for a high quality local primary care service please contact our Managerial Assistant, Gill Alexander, on 01353 727686 or click the apply button to apply. Gill will be able to arrange an informal visit for you to see our surgeries and meet our staff.

For informal enquiries please feel free to ring Dr James Howard or our Practice Manager, Andy Botcher, on 01353 624123.

Closing date for applications Monday 19 June 2017.
