Applications are invited for a new 10 PA Consultant Paediatric Respiratory Paediatrician to join the well-established respiratory team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.
The appointee will have a broad expertise in paediatric respiratory medicine and provide clinical services for the Trust at a tertiary and quaternary level.
There are opportunities to develop further subspecialisation, depending on the candidate’s clinical experience and research interest. It is expected that the candidates will have experience in cystic fibrosis, acute and chronic lung disease, difficult asthma, rare lung diseases, empyema, paediatric
sleep, chronic respiratory failure and flexible bronchoscopy. The candidate should have completed national grid specialist respiratory training or its equivalent.

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust is a postgraduate teaching hospital, linked with the Institute of Child Health (ICH). The Trust has 368 beds and provides a comprehensive range of paediatric specialties for tertiary level care. The patient population consists of over 20,000 inpatients per annum and 84,000 outpatients.
The basic salary range for this post is £76,761 to £103,490 per annum plus £2,162 per annum London Weighting.
