Renal Medicine September 2017 

These fellowships are based in the Imperial College Renal and Transplant Centre. This post is initially for one year but can be extended for a further year depending on the needs and progress of the appointed candidate. The post is 75% clinical and 25% research/other training. The 75% clinical time will provide the successful applicant with extra clinical training in all aspects of nephrology including glomerulonephritis and specialist re-nal transplantation. The 25% research/other training time can be used to undertake research in any aspect of renal medicine or transplantation, or to undertake further training in all aspects of interventional nephrology, or gain management experience as determined by the needs and interests of the candidate. The successful candidate will alternate between 9 week clinical blocks and 3 week research/intervention/management blocks.
