This is an exciting opportunity to spend a year working as a Corneal Fellow in our Corneo Plastic Unit at QVH to further develop and enhance your skills. The Corneal Fellow will participate in running service commitments at a senior level and with participation in research, audit and teaching. This is a great opportunity to broaden your experience whilst working in a friendly and supportive environment working alongside our ophthalmology consultants.
The Corneo Plastic Unit is recognised both regionally and nationally, for its excellent high quality service covering a range of elective conditions and the Fellow will participate in the diagnosis, management and follow-up of patients with all types of anterior segment diseases and will provide general ophthalmology and oculoplastics services, undertaking surgery on such cases both under supervision and independently.
