Barts Health NHS Trust is one of the largest and most respected teaching hospital trusts in Britain as well as being the home of London’s Air Ambulance Service.
The advertised post is for a full time Diagnostic Neuroradiology Consultant at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is a replacement post. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our existing team of 8 Neuroradiologists providing a comprehensive neuroimaging service to the Trust. The post will be based at both the Royal London and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals.
There is a regional Neurosciences centre (including Paediatric neurology), a Level 1 Trauma Unit and a Hyperacute stroke unit based at the Royal London Hospital. On the Barts site there are gamma knife, cyberknife and PET services supporting the Oncology and Endocrine units.
The successful candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent broad diagnostic neuroradiology skills and be able to participate in a 1 in 9 on call rota, with remote access to PACS.
Research and teaching activities are encouraged and supported by the active academic department and there is a highly successful training programme with 35 registrars.
